Jacobs Well, a Grade 1 listed building in the heart of York, is available for hire for meetings, private functions, wedding receptions etc. Please see below for an overview of our facilities.
Meeting/reception rooms
We offer two primary meeting spaces within the building:

The first floor is adjoined by a small ante-chamber. Both ground and first floor rooms are supplied with seating.
The whole building can be hired for £25 per hour.
Kitchen and catering
Jacobs Well has a well-equipped kitchen with a cooker and microwave. It is stocked with sufficient crockery, glasses etc. for parties of up to 60 people. We are able to offer higher quality crockery for an additional fee.
Outside caterers are welcome to use these facilities.
Alcohol and licensing
The building is not licensed. If you wish to serve alcohol at a booked event, please enquire at the time of booking.
Please note that the building is not licensed for music of any kind.
